Stone Cottage

This cottage was built in the 1920s as a guest cottage on a large estate above an iconic Massachusetts beach. All the walls were made of local granite. The owners asked for an addition that “looked like it has always been there.” A main level addition was added that included a master bedroom, bath and a covered porch that converts to a screen porch with drop-down screens. The second floor added two bedrooms and a bath. The first floor was opened up for more modern living but the coastal cottage feel was maintained.
