The Point

This 1880s Victorian shingle style had been in the same family for over 40 years. It sits in the middle of a peninsula, high up, allowing for select views to the harbor and ocean on the opposite side. The new owners asked to keep the charm of the Victorian, but in a more modern way. The roof was removed to allow for more dormers and space on the third floor. Many details were re-imagined but the feel of the home was maintained. Windows were added to open to the view beyond. A 3-car garage was added, along with a breezeway that is the gateway to a breathtaking backyard. The existing carriage house became the new pool house and office.
